snu tahoe business plan competition: solar innovations
see how an idea to keep beer cold at the beach was developed into an award-winning business product to keep temperature sensitive vaccines cold for delivery in developing countries!
during the annual business plan competition series, student teams develop an initial idea through progressively more detailed and competitive iterations, with the possibility of earning substantial cash prizes along the way. we’re very proud of our students’ performance in regional competitions, where our teams regularly place against much larger schools like unr and unlv.
your learning will be centered around real world projects and case studies. you will have access to the reno area’s growing entrepreneurial “ecosystem”, and the surprisingly rich network of local expertise attracted by lake tahoe’s desirable lifestyle.
an internship with a local entrepreneurial business or social organization will be an integral part of your college experience.
