sierra nevada university’s 13-acre campus on the north shore of lake tahoe is designed with education, team building, and outdoor activities in mind. hold your event just two blocks from the beach in the heart of the high sierra. available between memorial day weekend and the end of august.

meet:
we have meeting rooms which hold anything from 10 to 140 people. choose the space that fits your needs.



dine:
you won’t go hungry. for events in any of our meeting spaces, our kitchen can cater and deliver food straight to you. for groups of 35 or more, our cafeteria is open. from a mid-morning snack to a multi course wine-and-dine closing night banquet, we can do it all.
explore:
the lake tahoe area is one of the most desirable vacation destinations in the country. there are activities for everyone. you can summit a peak, make sand castles on the beach, watch the sunset over the west shore (craft cocktail optional), catch a fish or catch a show, all in the neighborhood.
the great outdoors: take advantage of our experience and equipment by adding outdoor programming and team building to your event. we can outfit your group for a day of mountain biking, hiking, or paddle boarding and beachfront activities. we also have outdoor guides on staff who are experts in outdoor adventure in the tahoe basin.

see what else lake tahoe has to offer. public transportation is available from tahoe area rapid transit (tart).

rest:
eighty-eight dorms rooms are available on campus in two separate dormitories. rooms can be set for single, double, triple or quadruple occupancy. all rooms have private bathrooms, and laundry facilities are available. a day of seeing all that tahoe and snu has to offer, followed by a good night’s rest – what could be better?
getting here
by air: the reno-tahoe international airport is the closest commercial airport, approximately 30 miles from snu. the north lake tahoe express provides scheduled shuttle service, reserve in advance.
