mandatory immunization requirement
nevada administrative code (nac) 441a.755 states a person shall not attend a university until he or she submits to the university proof of immunity to tetanus, diphtheria, measles, mumps, rubella and any other disease specified by the state board of health.
students are required to provide immunization documentation for measles, mumps and rubella (mmr) (two doses) and tetanus/diphtheria (td) before registering for classes.
any student under the age of 23 who will be living in on-campus housing must also be vaccinated against neisseria meningitis (meningococcus) unless excused because of medical or religious reasons.
tetanus and meningitis vaccinations must be less than 10 years old.
