remember –
computer issues can often be solved by simply restarting your computer. if you are experiencing difficulty connecting to the internet, viewing emails, getting your music to play, or any other annoyances — the first thing to try is restarting your computer.
set strong passwords. strong passwords are important for the overall safety of snu’s network – and your personal data.
- include as long and complex a mix of characters as you are able – including both lower and upper case letters, numbers, and symbols.
- one memory aid is to make a short sentence only you will know (for example, [email protected]).
- passwords that lack symbols, or include words such as “password” or numbers like “1234” are not secure.

q – how do i connect to the classroom projectors?
there is an in-depth instruction manual near the remote control in every projector-enabled classroom. this is the best way to connect if you have an issue. if you have read that the manual located in room and your issue has not been fixed, contact the helpdesk for assistance.
if you need to use a projector but don’t have a laptop that connects, you can make arrangements to borrow one in advance. email us if you are a student, or submit a helpdesk ticket if you are staff/faculty.
